FRANKLINITE with CALCITE: Franklin Mine, Franklin, Sussex County, New Jersey, USA. Dimensions: 4.4 x 4.0 x 3.1cm, miniature. Two large and at least three small, sharp, lustrous, jet-black Franklinite octahedrons comprise this excellent cluster from the famous Franklin Mine in New Jersey. The two large Franklinite crystals measure 3 and 2.8cm top to bottom respectively and are in great condition with minor contacting as is typical of these. The crystals have textbook octahedral form and the shiny black crystals contrast well with attached patches of white Calcite and even the trace amount of reddish Zincite. The Calcite has great orange fluorescence. A great Franklinite miniature. Buyer pays USPS Priority Mail shipping and any sales tax. Thank you for reviewing this listing and see my other items!
