Attractive, handmade/painted amphora (double handled vase)

Museum copy - It is a replica of an actual ancient Greek Amphora that was found in Kreta, Greece, and states this on the bottom.

On the bottom its states that the ancient amphora dated to 1500BC (Minoan Period)

It is beautifully decorated ancient scenes which depict workers picking olives, so this ewer was likely to be for Olive Oil.

it is finished with a stippled crackle glaze, to look like it has been buried in the ground for hundreds of years - very effective!

Height: 7 1/2 inches (approx)

I will well pack it in a box for posting :-)
