Large Lot of Relics dug at Old Camp Grant Arizona Apache Wars 1870s era:

Great assortment of dug military relics from the Civil War and Indian Wars period. These came from the collection of a gentleman I knew in Tucson who died over a decade ago, who used to metal detect in southern Arizona. These were in a box of relics marked "Old Camp Grant." The fort was built in the 1860s on the east bank of the San Pedro River (located south of the present town of Winkelman) and was abandoned in the mid-1870s and moved to a new site, called Fort Grant, about 30-40 miles away. Nothing remains of the fort today, which is located on private property and several houses have been built on top of the site. These would make a great display of relics from the Arizona Apache Wars!
