Large Handpainted Teapot with Purple Flower Chives & Sage by SANTOS of Portugal:

This vintage ceramic A Santos teapot, made in Portugal, would be a great addition to any tea lover's collection. Its hand-painted design features the herbs chives on one side and sage on the other side, both with purple flowers and green foliage on a white background. The handle and the knob are painted in green to match the foliage. It holds a lot, with a capacity of 6-6.5 cups. The teapot is about 9 & 1/2 inches wide, from tip of spout to outer handle, and stands 6 inches tall to the top of the knob on the lid. It is surprisingly light for its size, and it weighs 1 pound, 10 ounces.

The teapot was only out on display and shows no signs of wear, so there are no chips, cracks, crazing or stains.
