Here, we have a Medieval figural brooch circa 12th-13th century AD.

Copper alloy composition.

It displays a black, brown and green patina, uncleaned.

An open-work brooch depicting two male figures, each with one arm over the shoulder of the other, standing on a lion or hound that lays beneath them. A larger size than is normally seen for this type of brooch.
