Large 9\" Silvercrest Heintz Bronze Vase Sterling Art Nouveau Overlay Arts Crafts:

A large Silvercrest Silver Crest silverplated bronze vase with sterling overlay. Finish is acid-etched and silverplated with applied sterling floral decoration. May have had Dore finish at one time. Inscription on rear: \"Spring Tournament Congress Lakes Club. Doctor L.F. Mutchman. 1st Prize, 1st Flight.\"
Size: 9\" tall x 4.25\" across the top and 3\" across the base. Weighs approx. 570 grams.
Marks: Silver Crest, Sterling Decorated Bronze, 2045, SMACo.
Good condition. Sits flat and stands straight. Minor depression of the lip on the top. This piece may have been Dore finished at one time. Has dark spots on silver finish. Shallow inscription on rear which is difficult to photograph. One small spot of missing silverplate just above inscription.
