LOT of 2 PIECES CiCam CAMEROUN FABRIC100% Cotton ~ African Print ~ JOURNEE INTERNATIONALE DE LA FEMMEand BUEA MUNICIPALITY / Let\'s Work Together (CAMEROON)Cloth making is a popular activity across the sub-Saharan African continent and has a particularly strong following in Cameroon. One of Cameroon’s most successful companies in manufacturing textiles has been Cotonniere Industrielle du Cameroun, or CICAM (CiCam). Sadly, it is now close to bankruptcy. The fabrics on sale were produced some years ago – not sure of the year but I’m guessing the early to mid-2000’s. Each year, CiCam would produce a commemorative cloth in honor of International Women’s Day in March. The larger piece in this sale is from one of those events. It measures approximately 5 2/3 yards and is marked CT 04084 (or 04004; not sure). I am uncertain of the event for which the blue design piece (marked BUEA MUNICIPALITY, Let’s Work Together) was created. It is 2¾ yards and is marked ST 03154. Both pieces of fabric are 45” wide. Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.Because I am not the original owner, I cannot guarantee that these items have never been exposed to smoke, pets or peanut butter, however my nose is sensitive and I don\'t detect any unpleasant odors. This item has lived in my smoke-free home as long as I have owned it.My response rating is excellent, so offer with confidence.
