Michael Ricker (1940-2006) was a celebrated and accomplished Colorado based artist and sculptor for more than four decades.Michael Ricker learned the art of molding and casting pewter from his father-in-law.His work has been treasured by hundreds of thousands of collectors as well as dozens of prominent figures and celebrities including former Presidents, athletes, actors and entertainers. In 1975, Michael began working on the masterpiece that will forever leave his mark as one of the most talented and proficient American artists of all time. Park City, a 30 foot by 10 foot miniature town depicting life at the turn of the 19th century, was completed in 1986 and presented to former President Gerald Ford.Featured among the work’s more than 470 pieces are a carousel, a town hall, a circus parade and a riverboat.Ford graciously accepted the \"key\" to Park City and promised a home for the masterpiece in the Smithsonian Institute.

The plates measure approximately 8\" across and all 5 weigh a combined weight of 19.07 pounds! Pewter is \'heavy\' and beautiful!
1980 - Christmas in New England #1315/5000 - Excellent like new condition - weighs 3.06 pounds
1981 - Coastal Christmas #2716/5000 -Excellent like new condition - weighs 3.06 pounds
1982 - Southern Christmas #1315/5000 -Excellent like new condition - weighs 4.62 pounds
1983 - Midwestern Christmas #1315/5000 -Excellent like new condition - weighs 3.56 pounds
1984 - Southern Christmas #1315/5000 - weighs 4.77 poundsthis is the only plate that I saw anything wrong with - the glass is cracked and missing a triangular piece of glass that measures approximately 1 1/2\" tall and 3/4\" wide at bottom. The good thing is about this minor issue (in my opinion it is minor...) I that it is absolutely not visible at all from the front of the plate - the only way you would know that it is cracked/small piece of glass missing is if you turn the plate over to look at the back side...please be sure that you are \'ok\' with this issue before purchasing! Thank you!

When I pack fragile items such as these gorgeous plates, I ALWAYS over-pack them...I don\'t scrimp on bubble wrap, paper and peanuts and I always use a box that provides plenty of space on all sides of the item to ensure its safe travels to its new home!
