GoodBuck Creekpoint that measures 2 3/8" long by 1 5/16" wide. This is a Late Archaic point dating near 3,000 BP. It has counter parts in other areas such as the Kampsville in West Central Illinois and the Wade in North Alabama. Made out of cream colored Burlington chert. Found on the Tennessee River, in Benton County, Tennessee. Very nice form for the type with a stack on one side. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

This piece was from the Tim Pafford collection of Dover, Tennessee. He sold this collection to Tom Davis of Stanton, KY. I bought this piece from Mr. Davis in 1997 and sent it to AAI / John Berner, who typed it and said it is 100% Authentic.
