Description & Condition:
Great souvenir plate in multi-color made by Adams Potteries in England and imported by Jonroth under the name of Old English Staffordshire Ware. This plate was ultimately made for Lincolns New Salem Enterprises, Inc., New Salem State Park in Petersburg, Illinois for souvenir distribution. The front scene depicts the famous First Berry Lincoln Store & Post Office, New Salem, Illinois. The maker mark is on the back side in black and reads in a banner, \"Lincoln\'s New Salem Commemorative Plate - Abraham Lincoln came to Illinois in 1830 in the village of New Salem. He spent six formative years (1831-1837) of his life.\"
Size: 7\" diameterCondition: Previously owned, Very Good condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, utensil marks, stains or repairs. You will see very minor wear from age.
