This rare, Limoges box is Raggedy Ann, a rag doll introduced in 1918 by Johnny Gruelle, as the main character in a series of children\'s books. She is painted with orange \'yarn\' hair, \'button\' eyes and a triangular nose, wearing a green shirt with black, polka dots, a green skirt and a pink pinafore. The background is pink and white, and the side is pink with burgundy dots. A ribbon bow is the clasp, and her facial features are painted inside. The box has a diameter of 2.1\" with a height of 1\".
