Vintage Original Single Page Letter from Angus ? (cannot discern last name) President of Central Savings Bank (now Apple Bank) located on Broadway, New York City dated May 17, 1929, to Mrs. Anna Gerster (1854-1931) regarding financial investment (bonds) the bank was apparently helping her manage and the president\'s recommendation to hold onto them until a profit could be made. Stock market crashed later in year not sure how that worked out. Anyway, Central Savings Bank was around from mid-1800\'s until 1980\'s and is probably best known for its iconic building in NYC which was completed in 1929. Anna Wynne Gerster was born in OH and married to Dr. Arpad Gerster (1848-1923) the famous surgeon. Please look him up. The letter is on bank letterhead with bank cover.
