For sale is a lightly used LAMY 2000 in black makrolon and with a 14k gold nib. I bought the pen new from an seller in January and it has barely been used since. I noticed no signs of use or markings on the pen when inspecting it earlier. The piston operates very smoothly.
The pen comes with an extra fine nib, and I\'d say it leaves a line comparable to the other Western extra fine nibs with which I\'ve written. One thing a potential buyer should note about this pen is that some of the extra fine nibs on LAMY 2000s come stock with a grind that resembles a minor architect grind. The nib on this pen is one of those. The up and downstrokes are slightly narrower than the sidestrokes. As such, writing with this pen feels a little bit like writing with a scalpel. It\'s fairly smooth, but the sidestrokes definitely have more response because of the unique grind.
The pen ships with everything that I received when I bought it new from an seller last fall: the pen, a presentation box, and some documentation.
