This vintage pocketknife from L.F.&C. is a collector\'s dream. With a stainless steel clip point blade measuring under 3 inches, it is perfect for everyday use or display. The knife has a slipjoint lock mechanism and a black bone handle. This original piece was manufactured in the United States prior to 1950 and has two blades. The black color and manual opening mechanism make it a timeless piece to add to any collection. The firm traced its origins to 1842, when George M. Landers and Josiah Dewey entered into a partnership named Dewey and Landers. Then the company was incorporated in 1862 by George M. Landers with the purchase of the Meriden business Frary & Clark.
