For your consideration is this vintage 1960\'s, UNUSED, UNCANCELLED, color photographic postcard of the annually celebrated \"AOI MATSURI\" festival held in Kyoto, Japan. The postcard is from the Japan Tourist Association. I received this postcard from my cousin back in the day upon his return from visiting that beautiful country. Please note; although I listed this postcard as being \"used\" as you can see in the description photos, the card has never been used nor has it been post stamped cancelled by the post office. I only listed the postcard as being used because of its age.The postcard has a glossy color finish and measures approximately 5.50\" across and 4.0\" wide. The postcard remains in good condition showing only minor signs of handling and age. The postcard is free of any deep or large creases, bends or damage. All the corners on the postcard are sharp with only the upper right hand corner showing a very slight and minor bend on its pointed tip.The postcard features festival attendees dressed in traditional costumes and festive clothing as a watchful Japanese policeman stands diligently watch over the celebrating crowd.On the reverse side of the card, in the upper left corner, appears the following information.\"THE \"AOI MATSURI OBSERVED ANNUALLY ON MAY 1-5, IS ONE OF THE MOST COLORFUL FESTIVALS OF KYOTO\"Overall the postcard remains in very good condition and would certainly make an attractive and interesting addition to anyone\'s Japanese memorabilia and/or postcard collection and display.
