This is a Stereo card of a Blast Furnace Plant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania . It is from the Keystone “Visual Education” 600 card “Tour of the World” set from the late 1910\'s and shows great details. This set was used in schools to teach children about the world. As with most Keystone sets, some of the images were taken years before the issue date of this set. Unlike most Keystone “Tour of the World” sets, this set has a very heavy emphasis on manufacturing around the world and includes factories, transportation, farming, mining, etc. Most cards in this set are in very good to excellent condition with typical wear to the edges. Any damage to this particular card will be listed below. This card is titled \"Plant of the Blast Furnace, Pittsburgh, Pa.\" and is numbered 62 with a Keystone negative number of 6322. This card is in very good to excellent condition and measures 3 1/2\" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Stereoviews or Stereo Cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
