-- Lovely little vintage Kelvin Chenteapot, C 1996
-- Kelvin Chen creates original porcelain enamelover copper objects based on a 17th century tradition involving precise coppercutting, assembly and enamel painting followed by five firings to solidify theenamel and give each piece a bright, luminous color. The process takes 17 daysto complete. Because the pieces are handmade, minor imperfections areconsidered a part of their charm. Only a limited number of each design isproduced.
