KAISAR-I-HIND (1914.1938)
Built by Caird & Co., Greenock, Scotland for the P&O Line, British flag. She was a 11,430 GT ship with dimensions of 520\'x61\'. Twin-screw, 17 knots, quadruple expansion engines with two masts and two funnels.
Service: England-Bombay. Able to average speed of 18.5 knots. Made a record run from Plymouth, England to Bombay of 17 days 20 hours, 52 minutes. Passengers 315 first, 233 second.
Scrapped in 1938. (Made a voyage to New York June 18, 1921. Also noted as EMPRESS OF INDIA.
