John Maddock & Sons China from Staffordshire, England. Based on mark on the bottom of this soup tureen, it was made around 1896. This company is no longer in business and there are currently none like it on at this time- so truly special.
Tiny pink flowers around bowl and lid, as well as on the bottom of the inside of the bowl. Gold painted edging on handles, lid and bowl. Charming country look yet very elegant so as to coordinate with all your styles. Wish that it could go to a loving home as it has survived over 120 years with no chips or broken pieces.
