This original art features the work of Jim Lawson and is, it seems, the solicited cover to Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #49 (from August of 2008). It does show up through Previews as the solicited cover for the issue but actual copies of #49 show a different cover. Perhaps it was intended to be a variant cover that was never actually used? I do not know. Still, it is a one-of-a-kind piece of hand-drawn art and features a great image!
Itmeasures approximately 10 by 14 inches and is in excellent condition. It will be shipped with the utmost care. Please note- this is an actual, original piece of artwork drawn by hand by Lawson. It is not a copy, print, bluelines, or a pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind piece of original art.The colorized comic image that was originally shown on Previews Online is shown for reference. But the comic book itself is not included in with the listing. The listing is for the original artwork only.
