At his side rests a sheep, attempting to climb onto his lap but ultimately settling for resting its leg on his thigh. The sculpture is a beautiful representation of Christ\'s compassion and serenity. Cast using the ancient method of lost-wax casting, it features a brown patina finish for preservation and is mounted on a variegated black marble base bearing the signature of the artist, Valli.
