This is a Japanese WWll kamikaze pilot suicidetantodaggerin mountings. The blade is unsigned,hira-zukurishape with Horimono dragonengravings, WWll time period ca.1940 era madeblade. The blade is in old polish, shows finescratches but norust andin good condition. Thereis no bend, no nicks, no cracks and cutting edge is sharp. The temper line is wavygunometemperpattern andhasdeep turn back temper at the point. Theforging grain is tightitame-hada,noopening, no blisterandno forgingflaws at all. It is mounted in ho-wood mountings with leadhabaki,no cracks no dents and in good condition. Handleistightfit also in good condition. Itmeasures 7+3/8\" cuttingedge, 23 mmwidth, 3.5 mm thicknessat the notchand13+1/8\" in mountings. Storage bag is aged worn outcondition. Ships insured. You must be 18 or over to purchase.
