Jack Russell Zeppa Studios Hand Painted Tea Pot and Tea Cup - from the 1980’s, - the tea cup is signed Zeppa, Kent, CT, with the “signature” Zeppa paw print at the bottom of the cup - off white with Zeppa’s dark green handle and base and says around the cup “… take a terrier to tea…” the teapot - really cute with three terriers running on each side of the tea pot (two tan and white and one tri on each side) with Zeppa’s dark green bottom, spout, handle and trim, and is signed “Zeppa” - the lid of the teapot says “tea pups * tea pups” and includes a tab on the underside of the lid that fits under the flange on the teapot and is positioned opposite the spout to prevent the lid from falling off while pouring tea. I have not found a single other teapot and teacup set by Zeppa - available now or in the past - this one was purchased from the Jack Russell Store (C.W. & Assoc, Inc.) and has never been used. Zeppa is now located in Virginia and all of their items past and present are hand painted by M.K. Zeppa - the Terriers on the teapot are really cute - this is a special set. Teapot is 6 1/2” wide from spout to handle x 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” tall. Cup is @ 5 1/2” wide (including handle) x 2 3/4”.
