This is an early Jayne Mansfield autograph. There\'s a stamped date of January, 12, 1955 on the back cover of the sleeve. At that time, Jayne was doing modeling and \"cheesecake\" photos. She signed her name with a dotted \'i\" early on, but changed to including a heart over the i in her last name after she posed nude for Playboy magazine in February, 1955. She also got a movie contract and her signature took on a flourish with the letter \"f\". Her \"Jayne\" and the letter \"M\" stayed pretty much the same her whole career.She died tragically in a car crash in 1967. By that time her movie career had fizzled out and she was doing night club shows and personal appearances.I purchased the autograph through Guaranteed Autographs in 2011.Listing is a 3 Day sale with payment required within 3 days or subject to cancellation.
