About the Piece - This tile was crafted in Vibrant colors against a White background in the ancient city of Iznik using local quartz and techniques perfected more than a thousand years ago. The premium quality of Iznik tiles shows itself in both the weight of the tile (it is 80% quartz) and in the delicate hand-painted details by a local artist. Ottoman Inspirations has commissioned this special Decorative Tile to incorporate two very important ancient symbols working together in harmony. The Tree of Life symbolizes Spiritual and Physical Nourishment, Growth and Strength, Personal Transformation, Liberation, Union and Fertility; while the Evil Eye symbol brings protection against Evil Spirits, Evil Spells and Bad Luck.
