Italian Sardinian Model 1834 Cavalry Trooper Sword Saber Pre-unification Sword:

Rare Sardinian Model 1834 cavalry trooper sword with original scabbard. These pre-unification cavalry swords are much less common than the next-generation Italian M1860. Guard and scabbard all have uniformm patina with some pitting. Nimble 35" blade is in very nice condition with uniform patina. Washer intact. No visible maker mark but arsenal stamp or proof mark is visible on ricasso obscured by washer and I have not lifted washer to look for maker name. Original scabbard is missing the lower bracelet/ring. Guard has some lateral movement. Grip leather shows some loss but grip wire intact. Sword weighs 2 lbs 3 ounces.
