OFFERED ... a pair of Italian Borghese chalkware statues by Salienne, as signed on the base of each. They depict Victorian children, a boy and girl, gathering flowers, dressed in period clothing. The girl is using her dress apron for gathering; the boy is using a wicker basket. Overall intricate details. The figurines are finished in an \"antiqued\" green glaze that has a bright sheen. I have wiped easily-accessible areas on both statues. There were three tiny chips where finish had flaked off; I used a charcoal pencil to touch those up, and it worked beautifully. The statues measure 10\" in height; 6\" in width; 5 1/2\" in depth (boy); 3\" in depth (girl). WEIGHT: 4 lbs. 2 ozs. without packaging
