Lab stand lamp. Many lab parts lend themselves to creating lamps. The heavy cast iron tripod base and upright are vintage lab equipment . Cenco “ knuckle “ is one of the finest quality ever made, solid brass and nickel over brass. All parts are vintage. The shade is a Faries, push on style and has 4 very small splits on the front rim that have been repaired with a heavy gauge steel wire in the rim- see last two photos.

Given the light weight of the lamp arm and shade, the plumb bob counterweight isn’t necessary, but doesn’t hurt and adds some steampunk whimsy.
