Improved Order of Red Men? Fraternal Sword with Scabbard. The ricasso is marked\"The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus, O.\" and the reverse has the Knightshead mark of Kirschbaum. The grip and pommel are tight, the guard wiggles. The chain connecting the pommel to the guard is intact. The grip is 85% complete.The etched blade has a light gold background, one side has \"Ben Cpt.\" and the reverse has \"L. of C.\" on it, the blade is straight, unsharpened, no nicks, and is mostly clean with some age spots on the last 6\" towards the tip. The scabbard is solid with no dents/dings, there are surface nickel loss freckles with surface rust scattered throughout and on the lower half the surface loss is heavier. Washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 28\" (11/16\" wide x 1/8\" thick), the sword alone is 35 1/8\", andlength in the scabbard is 36 1/8\".
