This vintage vase was made by an inmate in the Activity Therapy Department of the Psychiatric Division at the Illinois State Penitentiary - Menard. Menard is located in Chester, IL. The sticker on the bottom of the vase gives its origin story. It was made before 1970 as the prison's name changed that year.
The vase is in great shape with no visible damage. It measures 9" tall, 5.5" wide, and 3.5" deep.
Similar vases were sold most recently in 2021 for $148. My price is lower and based on those sales.

Shipping is usually done via Priority Mail as it doesn't cost much extra and moves faster. However, depending on cost, I may use USPS First Class for lighter items or FedEx or UPS for heavier items.
