Dating to the mid-1930's, this iconic lamp is an example of American machine age design from the mid 1930’s. Saturn lamp designs are associated with the 1933/34 “Century of Progress” Chicago World’s Fair. It is unknown whether this lamp was an “official" World’s Fair product, however it is certainly of that period and genre.

This lamp has been restored and refurbished and is in excellent working order. Chrome components have been professionally re-plated. Black components are refinished in satin enamel. Original push switch bulb socket interiors have been refurbished with new like kind. Original wiring has been refurbished with new reproduction rayon covered twist style power cord and appointed with new reproduction vintage style plug. New felt has been applied to the underside of the base. This lamp accepts a standard medium base Edison light bulb (not included).The shade appearing in the photos is NOT INCLUDED and may be purchased separately.
