In my 40 years career .. if anyone asked me which piece I’m most proud of ... I would always answer the liberty paperweight and box

It’s probably the most detailed engraving of my 40 years career

With even the single panes of glass are visible under magnification

Took nearly 3 months to engrave the mold

Took 30 years of practice to be able to engrave it in 3 months

I made this at the request of a famous Washington DC retailer in the 1990’s who was asked by the First Lady for something that she can give to visiting dignitaries .. like kings. presidents , ministers and even dictator s ..
