Tarrytown Museum ArchiveThis young Hummel boy lays on the rim of an ashtray pointing
his little finger toward the songbird and whistling along.• The ashtray dish measures approx. 6-1/8\" in diameter x 3-1/2\" tall with figure,
• Hand crafted and painted with great color and detail
• The M.I. Hummel signature is on the edge of the ashtray, the underside
has the incised numbers 166 and the Goebel TMK-5 stamped in blue• This rare piece was originally exhibited in the Goebel
Collector\'s ClubMuseum in Tarrytown N.Y. (1978-1989),
it bears the special Tarrytown backstamp onthe base• This collectible was acquired directly from the Goebel/Hummel
companyin excellent condition, it\'s clean with no chips, cracks or
crazing (not used as ashtray); it comes in generic Hummel box
