Hua Mulan Oriental Chinese Porcelain 3D Doll Art Hand Painted Wood Framed Shadow Box
This vintage unique and rare Oriental Porcelain Wall Hanging of Hua Mulan was found at an estate sale. It is hand painted and boxed in a shadow box wood frame. It is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks and measures approximately 8 3/8\" x 5 5/8\" x 1 1/4\". There is a label on the back that gives the following information:
Hua Mulan:
The New Drama \"The Heroine\" shaped Hua as a loyal, healthy, and bravery image. The story told us, South North Dynasty, Royal Court needed conscript because of border confrontation. HuaHu (Hua Mulan\'s father) was too old and sick to join the army and Hua Mulan\'s younger brother was too young to fight against enemies. Only his daughter Mulan could go to war instead of him by man-dressed. Mulan spent her 12 years to win the battle and went back home eventually.
