COLLECTION LIQUIDATION --

I am helping a magic friend sell most of his collection, (and I already had a ton of magic I was trying to get listed!) so I am putting his Collection items in this separate store category, and I will probably not be saying too much about the items. I will give a few good photos, and I will give a quick assessment of the item.

If you know your magic, you will recognize many items and know they are a great deal here. Or if you don\'t know the item, you may have to do a bit of online research to find out about it. Or you can just trust my honest (though quick) assessment of any item -- I always endeavor to tell you the good and the bad of anything I sell.

This is the cutest little Hot Rod I have ever seen. You can see in the photo next to the deck of cards, this hot rod is only slightly longer than a poker size deck, and it is quite narrow -- the rod itself is square, but skinny (making the usual secret paddle moves very easy!)

The package and instruction sheet show SS Adams, but this is not a vintage item. I think this is from after Magic Makers acquired the rights to sell Adams branded products. So probably made in the last 5 or 6 years.

The effect, if you do not know it: Show the Hot Rod to have six different color gems on both sides. One gem is chosen (by a process that is not very logical sometimes, depending on what number is named, but spectators forget about any illogicality after they see what happens next..).Suddenly all the gems on both sides change to the same color as the chosen gem!

NOTE: deck of cards in the photo is not included or needed -- just there so you get a quick sense of the size of this plexi rod.

My recent online search for this specific cute little Adams Hot Rod turned up listings priced from $10 all the way up to $20. The bottom end of that range seems right, but I\'ll price it a bit below.

CONDITION NOTES:previously owned, but in like new condition. The original prop is as new, apparently unused. Includes the original instruction sheet and package card.
