Application instructions if ironing on (these can always be sewn on too)

1.Allow your iron to heat up to the highest heat setting.

2.Iron out your garment to produce a nice and flat base for the patch to be applied to. Be sure that steam is turned off and that the article is nice and dry for application.

3.Place your patch where you wish to apply and cover with a sheet of Teflon, a cotton pillowcase or some baking paper/parchment paper.

4.Iron on the patch, ensuring that you apply pressure and iron each area of the patch for 60 seconds.

5.Leave the garment to cool before moving to allow the adhesive to properly bond, this step is important!

6.If working with a thicker jacket or larger patch, you can optionally iron the inside of the garment where the patch sits. Once again, ensure that you apply pressure and leave things to cool before moving.

7.Optionally, add a stitch or two in each corner of your patch as these may slowly loosen over time.

  • If applied correctly, these patches will hold up great against the test of time and washing. It?s recommended to wash at a lower temperature (30 degrees Celsius) to avoid heat loosening the glue in the wash.
