Here\'s a wonderful and rare gem jug from the Holland art china line by Homer Laughlin. Produced in 1906 around the same time as the Dreamland line, this being the rarer of the patterns. Features a mother and her two children. Colored in the brown/grey/yellow scheme. Measures about 7\" tall & 6\" wide. Very good to excellent condition with no chips, crazing, or major paint loss. Colors are bright & vibrant. A majority of the gold around the jug edge is intact, which is hard to find in pieces from this line. There are a couple color marks on the body of the jug, and a hairline split in the top of the handle ceramic (both pictured). Please note the split is UNDER the glaze and likely age related. This can happen with older ceramics over time and is largely cosmetic. Pieces from the Holland line like this one are extremely rare. Especially in this condition.
