I am pleased today to list several cards I purchased through a fundraiser for a Convent of Saint Clare. The cards have been stored away for years. Each is in very good to excellent or like new condition unless otherwise stated. They have never been used. Just stored away in a little stack.
This card is about 2.5 x 4.25 inches.
This card is in real beautiful condition especially considering its age which would have been 1969, when he was first known as Blessed (prior to later being named a Saint).
I will note, that to my eye, the lower left corner on the front only, appears to be a very very light pale shade of yellow. However, this identical coloration appears on each card in this stack of about a dozen, and only on the front. Therefore, it could not be a finger print or any soiling. It would have to be an effect of the printing process, for each card to be identical. And maybe most people would never notice this but I usually inspect each card. It is common for a dark image to show through to a white image, in older forms of printing processes. So please ignore this faintness of color and appreciate this Holy Card. It is not evident on the image.
The Saint\'s name appears in Italian language. The back side is blank. Some of the cards also have just the tiniest little ding or bend to a corner which does not harm the image, meaning or purpose of this historic card.
