Holland Mold Vintage Beer Stein/ King of the Jungle/ African Scene/ Safari AnimalsThis stein is not only impressive for its unique 3D jungle theme but also its 18\" inch height. This stunning ceramic beer stein features many safari animals around the outside, a lion king of the jungle lid and a lioness mug handle. This vintage stein was made in 1978 and is in excellent vintage condition with few tiny chips(pictured). No cracks or repairs and very minimal signs of age-related wear. This huge mug has a base diameter of 6.5\" inches and a top opening diameter of 4.25\" inches.
Holland Mold Inc. was founded in 1946 by Frank Hollendonner, an Austrian immigrant who learned mold making at a tile company in his homeland before relocating in New Jersey. Hollendonner made friends throughout the local ceramics industry, and soon got requests to create molds for a variety of items, which triggered the founding of Holland Mold, a company he started in his four car garage with his brother Rudy as his partner.
