Rare photo and negative combination of Bobby Leach taken in Niagara falls, New york. I'm not sure what street it was taken on but the buildings behind it might give a clue. It was purchased with estate photos that included other Niagara falls images from the period.

This is a rare item that belongs in a local historical society. I'll be pricing it on the high end while waiting for offers and trying to find the right home for it.

The photo itself is in good condition. The negative shows some discoloration around the bottom and right corner. Otherwise fairly clean. The negative also displays the full sign next to him. See photos for details.

I'm not finding a lot of images of this first "man" to go over the falls. If interested there are a dozen or more photos and negatives of the family that took the photo of him. Mostly of the falls and local scenery. They can be added for provenance. Thanks for looking.
