Rick Hinderer designed the XM-18 series of knives to be a no nonsense tactical tool that bleeds toughness. Everything about Hinderer knives are made in-house--from the grinding of the blade, to the stainless steel pivots, all the way down to the Rick Hinderer designed lock bar stabilizer. This XM-18 model with the 3.5" stonewash finished bowie-style blade includes standard stonewashed hardware and an od brown G-10 handle on the front side and a titanium handle scale where the frame lock design is located.
