Vintage Herbert Terry Pats Pending 3 Step Anglepoise Lamp 1227 - Circa 1935 This was the very 1st edition of this very rare iconic lamp issued before the earth screw was added to the fork block. Original black wrinkle paint to the base and shade with chrome arms and fork. Crabtree bakelite bulb holder and new 3 core earthed black twisted flex. I\'ve had a few of these lamps and the chrome on this one is exceptional with some minor pitting to the arms, no flaking whatsoever. The springs again are in excellent condition with no rust. The shade is true to shape, there is an indentation to the underside with some paint loss see pictureS. A lovely example of this very rare and iconic lamp in totally original condition.
