This handwoven blanket / bedspread is made of wool or alpaca, and is a very heavy weave designed for maximum warmth.The design is stunning! It features dramatic abstract designs in red against a black ground on one side, and corresponding black designs on a red ground on the reverse.
The piece was purchased in Colombia in the 1970s - 80s, and has been stored in a dry smoke-free environment until now. It is in perfect condition.Measures 88” x 62”
