Handpainted hand carved ethnic wallhanging ladle from Iceland. Decorative. Ready to hang with leather hanger. Backside is black with ladle painted with cottage scene with older grandma woman, young girl and curled up cat. Ladle measures 10 inches long X 3.5 inches at widest point. Artist signed. Says Sigurbjorg Eyjolfdottir and Gaukscrima 22, Selfossi, Simi 1597. Lots of detailing in the painted scene. Item is dated 1984. It is preowned so expect some wear but in very good shape.
