Hand Signed Sir David Low Political Cartoonist Artist Autograph Lunch Name Card
Sir David Low was a New Zealand political cartoon artist who lived from 1891 until 1963
the name card was obtained by Alderman Moss who was the Mayor of Manchester at the time and David Low gave a talk at the Manchester Luncheon Club
this is his original name card for the luncheon held in 1955 and he has hand signed it along with a scarce self portrait cartoon
David Low full signatures are incredibly hard to find especially with the self portrait sketch
the card is mounted on an autograph book page
the same autograph book was later signed by members of the 1960s Manchester United team and the page this card was stuck in was signed by Bill Foulkes so it also has his signature on it for years later
