Crafted in the mid-20th century, this miniature porcelain basket is a unique addition to your collection. With a glossy finish, hand-painted floral designs on all sides & even on interior of the basket, it also has gold trim around the top edge. **PLEASE NOTE* Quite a bit of normal vintage wear on gold trim, as this was a very much-loved item. It used to hold rings on the bedside nightstand. There’s some “roughness” to the surface on the interior of the basket and the underneath surface, due to the origjnal manufacturing of this piece.

Originally, the basket had some type of wire or sturdy twine connected through the 2 existing holes on each of the two side handles, but over the years, it has been lost. Cute as it is, or you could easily add a wire “handle”! Great for holding small items such as rings or tiny candles. Or even doll accessories!
