The matting has a slight bump on the bottom cornerand there are a few light marks just from existing over thepast years BUT you can paint the matt to freshen it up orhave another matt board cut - I do not think its necessarybut you can do whatever you want ;~) I only mention itto be exact in my descriptions NOT A PRINT
