Hand Made In Tanganyika Tribal Bust Bookends Genuine Besmo Product.
These bookends were made between 1961-1964. Tanganyika gained their independence from the British in 1961 and then formed the Republic of Tanzania in 1964. They are around 60 years old. Hand made of solid wood.
The bookends have two different profiles. One is 9 inches tall and the other is 9.5 inches tall. It looks like one is a female and the other is a male but I could be wrong.
