Displays a single fuller on each side of the blade.There is a 4 sided handle extending to a pyramidal 4 side point.

A "S" shaped crossguard ends in ball finials

Both the sheath and handle show heavy

oxydation as pictured however,the name

"Emil Tamby" is engraved on one side of the handle and Cincinnati,Ohio on another side. This is probably the maker of the dagger or the person for whom the piece was made. A internet search failed to reveal the individual named on the knife.The piece appears to have been crafted in the first or second quarter of the 20th.century in ohio or elsewhere.
