Hammered Tin 14” Tray DANSKT KUNST Swedish Denmark Arts & Crafts Tulips c1910s:

A lovely vintage Arts & Crafts style 14” long shallow oval tray in hammered tin by Danskt Kunst (translates to Danish Art in Swedish). With double tulips pattern around the outer edge. Light hammered texture is on all surfaces, both top and bottom of the tray. Stamped on the bottom Danskt Kunst Tin in a triangle with three small shields in the middle and the number 1193 below. Most likely made in Sweden in the 1910s or 1920s. Denmark inspired design by a little known company that is probably Swedish. Measures 14-5/8 x 10-3/8 x 3/8 inches. In good to fair condition. Tray has scuffing and several dents in the bottom. There are some scratches and a few oxidation spots. The tray rocks very slightly, about a 1/4” or less up and down, when resting on a flat surface.
